Steven Helt

Steven Helt, a proud Sequoyah High School alum, has deep roots in Claremore, Oklahoma. With over 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry, he's a true professional who's seen it all. Steven honed his skills in various roles and locations, even teaching in the apprenticeship program with the Sheet Metal Worker's Union Local 270.

Steven's strong focus on relationships and customer satisfaction is evident in everything he does. He takes immense pride in providing quality service to his community. Married with three children, Steven remains dedicated to supporting local organizations and giving back to the community he calls home.

In 2013, he returned home to Claremore to establish Helt / Helt Heat and Air. Starting with just one truck, Steven poured his dedication into building the company from the ground up. Today, Helt Heat and Air proudly boasts several full-time crews, offering 24/7 service to the community he is so proud to be a part of.


Steven isn't just a business owner; he's an active and engaged member of the community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Advisory Board for NorthEast Tech, helping to shape training programs for the next generation of HVAC experts.


You'll also find him actively involved with the Rogers County Homebuilders Association and sponsoring various local organizations, including the Sequoyah Dugout Club, Sequoyah Quarterback Club, Sequoyah Cheer, and The Voice of Sequoyah Band. Furthering his dedication to the future of his community, he's also a proud advisory board member for the IORG Girls Youth Assembly in Claremore and the Boy's Youth Organization DeMolay International. Organizations that provide scholarships and leadership for today’s youth. 

Gina Helt

Part of every successful business is a strong operational backbone, and for Helt Heat and Air, that's Gina Helt. Married to Steven since 2010, Gina ensures that the business operations run smoothly, a testament to her diverse background and unwavering dedication. Together, Gina and Steven are raising three wonderful children.

Gina's commitment to service began early, with 13 years in the Air Force where she installed telecommunications while simultaneously earning her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Her professional journey then led her through roles in Oil & Gas, the automobile industry, and the public sector before she joined Verizon. Eventually, she brought her extensive expertise to Helt Heat and Air, playing a pivotal role in the company's success.


Beyond the business, Gina is a tireless advocate for her community, especially its youth. In 2015, she joined the advisory board for Holland DeMolay, a youth organization in Claremore, and by 2017 became the Chapter Advisor, one of only two women at the time to hold that role. She mentored young men to excel in leadership and speech competitions, earning national recognition. Her passion for giving back extends to organizing charity events and fundraisers for Sequoyah Schools, Active Shooter Safety training, scholarship programs for DeMolay International, and serving as Secretary for the Sequoyah Quarterback Club, where her efforts raised tens of thousands of dollars for football safety equipment and training aids. She also supports the Sequoyah Tip In Club and Diamond Clubs, and sponsors organizations at Pryor, Verdigris, Adair and Claremore Schools.


In 2015, Gina furthered her education, earning an MBA from the University of Phoenix while working as a Project Manager at Verizon. Her leadership skills were recognized in 2019 when she was selected by Verizon as one of a handful of Oklahoma women for the Women of the World program, championing women's causes and promoting female leadership in business. In 2021, she continued her service by becoming the Chapter Lead for the Northwest Chapter of WAVE, Verizon's Employee Resource Group for women, leading for two years.

Giving back is truly a way of life for Gina. In 2023, she and Steven proudly began sponsoring the Will Rogers Stampede Rodeo, helping to bring quality rodeo events to the public. Gina also discovered a passion for painting creating pieces that she donates to local charities for fundraising. Her artwork has aided organizations like the Blue Star Mothers of Claremore, Holland Chapter of DeMolay International, IORG Girls Youth Sorority, local senior centers and provided support for a local girl battling cancer. In 2024, Gina spearheaded efforts with the Masons of the Will Rogers Lodge to raise over $15,000 for a local family whose home burned down. When a tornado devastated Claremore, Gina personally smoked over 150 pounds of meat to feed families left without power.


For her extraordinary efforts, Gina was recognized by the Claremore Chamber of Commerce as the 2024 Leading Lady of the Year, an honor that also led to recognition by Senator Ally Seifred and the Oklahoma Senate.

Steven and Gina have been happily married for over 15 years, raising three beautiful children. While free time is a precious commodity, family remains their top priority. With one child in college, one in middle school, and one in elementary school, they are constantly on the go when not dedicating themselves to the business. Steven enjoys football and working on cars in his spare time, while Gina finds joy in painting and is an avid reader.


Together, Steven and Gina are not only active in their community but also strong proponents of voter registration, school board participation, and championing education in Oklahoma. They embody a true commitment to supporting the causes that strengthen their community while providing the best HVAC services for Northeast Oklahoma.
